Commercial rating advice

Hey guys,

I recently passed my instrument checkride and I’m trying to plan my next steps before I begin commercial training. I currently have roughly 160 hours total time. I was wondering how you guys would advise me to proceed with training. I have had some guys on the airfield tell me that the commercial multi initial is a smart step and that I would then be able to do a single add on in a 152. I know I don’t have the money to do that but I’ve been told that it adds up to the same if not less if you do it this way. Any advice to a rookie is gladly appreciated…
