Davenport pitch trim

Hello,
I’m getting ready to install a Davenport pitch trim spring on my new-build Long-EZ project. I have Cozy MkiV torque tube offsets and spool piece and a 6" stroke actuator. My question is, with the elevators rigged, my actuator stroke will move the spring with no load on elevators to full forward stick elevator position to nearly full aft stick elevator position. I’m assuming this is the correct way to rig the spring and actuator but I wanted to check with the group prior to installing it on the spool piece. My concern is with no load on the elevators, when checking actuator stroke vs. elevator movement, should I rig it so there is more movement needed for up or down elevator when in flight.
Thanks,
Greg
