So on the seatback (round 2), the front side layup went down almost perfect. The backside and flox corners went better than last time; however, I had a problem with the backside curing. Five days later and it is still "tacky" to the touch. The fiberglass is secure, but when you touch it, its like touching the sticky side of packing tape and your fingers come back with a residue on them.

Usually, I have been laying epoxy in 85 degrees and less than 50% humidity. The only difference I can think of in this instance is that the humidity was creeping up the day I did the back layup. and I didn’t heat the shop as much, only to about 75 or so.

Could humidity cause the layup not to cure all the way? Any remedies for this, or are we looking at building seatback #3? :yikes:
